Our Pre & Post Natal Training is designed to educate and support women through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum, helping you understand what’s happening within your body so you can move, train, and recover with confidence.

 

We work alongside a women’s health physiotherapist to ensure your program is informed, safe, and tailored to your individual needs and goals — focusing on building strength from the inside out.

 

This includes understanding the role of the pelvic floor, learning how to manage abdominal separation, activating the transverse abdominis, and supporting hip and pelvic pain throughout pregnancy.

 

We also educate you on the incredible changes your body is going through so you feel empowered every step of the way.

Good knowledge during this time is essential — it can positively influence your recovery, strength, and long-term health for years to come.

 

Tara trained through her first pregnancy right up until 40 weeks before the birth of her first born in 2021, and after physio clearance gradually returned to training postpartum.

 

In her second pregnancy, she experienced an emergency C-section and once again focused on a slow, safe return to training.

 

In her third pregnancy, she worked hard towards a VBAC, but experienced ongoing back and rib pain for several months postpartum, which she has since rehabbed.

 

As a mum of three, including a NICU baby with ongoing health complications, Tara understands firsthand how challenging motherhood can be.

This lived experience shapes a compassionate, realistic approach to pre and postnatal training — meeting women where they are and supporting them every step of the way.
